What is Emotion Freedom Technique (EFT)

EFT is the acronym for Emotion Freedom Technique.

EFT is also known as tapping. The process involves tapping, with your fingertips at various acupuncture meridian points on your head, body and fingers. Together with Neuro-linguistic pathways (NLP) methods of speaking, EFT can help you to make some big shifts in thought processes, beliefs and physical and emotional blocks.

The way we feel, think and speak to ourselves may have emotional and physical repercussions. This is true in both the positive and negative. Negative emotions, words, reactions, thought processes and physical traumas in one’s life may cause a disruption, block or freeze in the body.  This can represent itself in a number of ways, physically and emotionally. Using EFT can be fast, effective and long-lasting as it may highlight the core issue of your emotion, thought pattern or reaction to the world around you and your inner dialogue.

By highlighting and becoming aware of our core belief systems that direct our life choices, health and everyday behaviour we can make some shifts and changes. Whilst many core beliefs are valid and held successfully by many, to others they could be paralysing and potentially blocking success and happiness. Highlighting your reaction patterns and thought processes can build bridges between your mind and body, bringing them back into harmony, helping you to unlock your true potential to find greater peace, happiness and success in your life.

Most importantly EFT is quick, simple and can be done anywhere at any time. Learning the technique through my one to one sessions, tapping circles and Udemy courses can give you a very powerful tool to use for the rest of your life. You can work with someone or on your own at home, results are seen in every session and life becomes easier and more manageable.
