You may have read my 5 Ways to Lose Weight for Life. I am not a fan of fad diets. The cayenne pepper, the purple diet, any juice fasts (which do not concentrate on elimination at the same time- enemas!) or any cockamayme caffeine or fat absorption inhibitor weight loss pills. They are dangerous in my professional opinion.
The result may shift a couple of pounds for a few weeks but the damage done to your hormonal system, immune system and especially your metabolism is huge. It will actually make you gain more weight in the long run. Unless you continue to do them and then the damage will get so bad all manner of chronic illnesses will begin to show their face. The thyroid being the number one hormonal imbalance I see in my clinic all the time.

This program is also great for men- except in title! The information is for human health not just female health. So you can do it together as a family. Kids need to learn about real food and we have the responsibility to teach them by showing them how we look after ourselves. They learn by repetition- give them habits to copy that will help them to nourish their own bodies from any age. This programme would also be amazing for teenagers before leaving home and going off to uni (college!!). Teach them how to feed themselves- I really needed something like this 20 years ago! I would have saved so much wasted time eating weird things like jam toasted sandwiches- clueless of the metabolism damage I was doing that I only learnt about 10 years ago!
The Superwoman Slim Down is amazing to help prepare for and heal after pregnancy. Being in the best shape pre and post natal is all about maximising and returning nutrients which will be leached (in the nicest way possible) during pregnancy and breastfeeding. One of the key reasons I did this course is even though I am aware of the information- I very rarely actually take the time to look after myself. Running around looking after my family, clients and the world, I always put myself last! I am learning to look after myself first and to listen to my own advice!
