Homemade Apple Peel Cider Vinegar
By now hopefully you will have picked up on my passion for all tat is fermented! (See Culture Your Life if you haven’t noticed!!). I wanted to make this Homemade Apple Peel Cider Vinegar for my daily Yummy Wake Up drink. When I found out how easy it was (reading articles like this one from The Nourishing Cook) I jumped at the chance to make my own. The ingredients are totally simple- Apple peels and water!!
I wanted to use the peels from making my Slowcooked apple sauce. I normally keep all my fruit and veg peelings for my stock pot but I am always looking for thing I can make rather than buy. Here are my picture instructions;
After covering with a cloth secured with an elastic band and leave in a dark warmish place. You can add peels over the next few days but when it start foaming- stop adding!
